I Am Not Eighteen.. Part 2

Some old man running a kiosk in the mall ask what grade a friend and I were in high school. Insulted I told him I'm nearly 22.

I know it will be good when I'm 30.. heck maybe even 25, but not now. I don't want to look like a high schooler, period.

    That's NOTHING.
    The other week I stepped in a variety store to buy smokes (ok it was more than a month ago as last Friday was offically my one-month-no-smoking mark) and the dude behind the counter IDs me, I show him my card, and he LOL'ed and said "seriously?" I'm 24. He said I looked 14.
    I grabbed the card and stalked out.
